Grade 3 field trip

  • The AMP Flames Community Champions Program is an exciting new inclusive hockey and life-skills experience offered free to Grade 3 classes. 

  • It is provided free of charge and includes coaches, facilities, and necessary equipment. 

  • Participants are only responsible to bring a lunch and arrange transportation to and from Winsport.

  • During the workshop, we will have discussions about the values of character, collaboration, community service, while emphasizing principles of physical and mental health.   

ITINERARY

9:45am | Students arrive at Winsport

10:00am-11:00am | Sledge Hockey Session (Rink)

• 11:00am-11:30am | Snack & walk to the gym

• 11:30am-12:30pm | Roller Hockey (Gymnasium) 

12:30pm-1:00pm | Lunch break

1:00pm-2:00pm | Interactive Workshop

2:15pm | Students return safely back at their respective schools

  PLEASE NOTE:

  • Dates are limited and available on a first come first serve basis. 

  • Classes/Participants are responsible for their own snacks and lunches.

  • Classes/Participants are responsible to manage their own transportation to and from the event.

  • Participants may bring their own hockey helmets, gloves, and elbow pads if preferred. 

  • Please note that Classes/Schools are subject to approval and times and dates can change as per Winsport regulations.

This program offers children with disabilities or going through treatments an important and safe opportunity to be a kid again by getting active and playing with other kids, friends and family members.

AMP NEXT GEN

This program supports high performance development and mentorship opportunities for athletes with physical disabilities. 

 

The PX3 AMP Calgary Flames Team was the first Canadian Tier 1 team in history to compete at the NHL's Annual Sled Classic.
